hop has launched a new Proof of Concept making HM Land Registry title deed data available to estate agents across England and Wales at low or no cost — for every property they list.
The PoC, developed in partnership with HM Land Registry, gives participating agents direct access to title deed information including tenure, lease length, restrictive covenants and easements, delivered in a format agents can use to populate listings with accurate material information from day one.
Sally Holdway, Chief Executive of hop, said: “The law is clear — estate agents have a duty to provide material information, and that doesn’t pause just because we’re waiting for updated Government guidance.”
The pilot is open to all estate agents in England and Wales and requires no complex integration. Agents wishing to access title deed data for their listings can get in touch at hello@homeownerspassport.com.
